About Founder
Shilo
Shilo is an occupational therapist and experienced operational manager with 20 years of experience working with people with disability, mostly in the community sector managing allied health services.
Shilo specialises in working out how people do tasks (functional assessment) and finding ways to make things easier. She is particularly interested in improving people's participation in the community, daily tasks and work through assistive technology (equipment) and skill development for the teams around people with disability.
Shilo has been working with the NDIS, either in policy development positions or in service delivery, since the ACT trial in 2015.Most recently, Shilo spent three years as a senior manager overseeing direct support services for people with complex needs. This renewed Shilo’s passion for working with individuals and organisations to identify people’s strengths and interests and jointly problem-solve to maximise each person’s potential.
